At the half, Pitt was keeping pace with the LSU Tigers, but the Panthers broke out in the second half and beat the Tigers 74-63 in the Greenbrier Tip-Off in White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia.
Jaland Lowe had 22 points and eight rebounds on the day, while Ishmael Leggett had 21 points and six boards. Next up for Pitt is a game against Wisconsin on Sunday to wrap up the Greenbrier Tip-off Tourney.
