A man from Center Township accused of operating a meth lab was sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court.
Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco ordered 59-year-old George Sager to serve up to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and four years of probation for depositing, storing or disposing of chemical waste, possession of ephedrine and simple possession of a controlled substance for an investigation that goes back to December 18th of 2022. On that day, State Troopers were called out to his home and found items needed to make meth along with a spent “one-pot”. The state police clandestine laboratory response team was called in to process the evidence.
Sager was paroled for his jail time immediately as he served his jail time while he awaited trial.
