Friday turned into a busy day for Indiana County’s first responders.
A gas leak was reported along South 13th Street in Indiana Borough at 2:18 PM, with the Indiana Fire Association’s rescue squad dispatched at the time. Aultman, Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were called out at 3:01 PM for an automatic fire alarm activation on Horseview Road in Black Lick township. And Tunnelton fire department responded to a lines down call at 3:17 PM along McConnell Road in Conemaugh Township.
Two vehicle accidents were reported last night and this morning by Indiana County 911. One was on Route 56 East in East Wheatfield Township. Armagh/East Wheatfield and Clyde fire departments were dispatched along with state police at 5:06 Friday evening. The other crash happened at midnight this morning on Rhine Road in Center Township. Coral-Graceton and Homer City fire departments were called to the scene.
