Indiana Regional Medical Center announced the opening of a mental health adolescent facility this morning.
Officials with IRMC joined Indiana in the Morning to formally announce the Renda Adolescent Therapy Facility will be located in the new Mental Health Facility. It will allow children in Indiana County and the surrounding areas to gain therapy for their mental health.
IRMC CEO and President Steve Wolfe said the facility will be a big factor to the area.
Heather Reed with IRMC said it’s an honor to name the facility after Renda Media.
Renda Media Regional Vice President Mark Bertig thanked IRMC for naming the adolescent therapy facility after Renda Media, and he said helping the community through efforts, like the Teddy Bear Fund Drive, is just one way of giving back to the hospital.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at a later date.
