INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
An Allegheny County man is facing DUI charges following an incident in Indiana Borough last month.
Indiana Borough Police say they pulled over 18-year-old Kellen McDonough for a summary traffic offense in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street shortly after 2 AM on April 21st. Upon investigating, officers found McDonough under the influence of alcohol and marijuana to a point where he was deemed unsafe to drive. He was taken into custody then later released to a sober adult.
Charges of DUI-Marijuana, DUI-Minors, underage consumption of alcohol and several summary traffic offenses were filed through Magisterial Judge Tony Sottile’s office.

An Indiana woman was charged following an incident Wednesday evening in Indiana Borough.
Police say they located 34-year-old Marie J. Berabei in a quote, “very intoxicated state” near the 800 block of Philadelphia Street around 11:40 p.m. She was arrested and cited for public drunkenness before being released to a sober adult. The citation was filed through Judge Sottile’s office.

One person was charged with DUI following an incident Sunday night in Cherry Tree Borough.
State police from the Punxsutawney barracks say they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple Title 75 violations near the 100 block of Market Street around 7:40 PM and troopers noticed several signs of impairment on the driver, identified only as a 35-year-old Cherry Tree man. Field sobriety tests were conducted and the driver was arrested for DUI.
Charges are pending in this case.
