A roundtable meeting is scheduled for today in the Indiana High School concerning incentivizing student teaching.
That roundtable will be held from 11 to noon today at the junior high school, and it is expected to address problems that could come from a statewide teacher shortage. Superintendent Robert Heinrich said that today’s meeting will talk about how to get people back into the field.
Officials with State Representative Jim Struzzi’s office and Senator Joe Pittman are expected to be in attendance for this session.
