State police have also released pictures of a suspect in a “quick change” scheme that happened at the White Township Walmart.
Troopers say that on Wednesday, January 29th, two men went into the Walmart on Oakland Avenue and purchased an item worth 97 cents with a $100 bill. When the cashier gave one of the men his change, he started to request certain bills and kept changing his mind, confusing the cashier in the process. At the end of the transaction, the unknown man received a total of $298.00. Walmart staff then contacted state police once the theft was discovered.
State police have provided a picture of the suspect, who was seen on security cameras as a black man, wearing a brown coat over a green shirt and black pants.
