Bonnie Jean (Hosack) Lingafelter, 79, of Indiana died Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Kittanning Health and Rehab. Center, where she had resided for nearly 13 years. Born May 4, 1944 in Albion, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. Hosack and Maxine Ida (Church) Hosack.
She was a 1962 graduate of Northwestern High School. She later worked for McJunkin Supply Company in Indiana where she sold supplies for gas and oil wells. After 14 years at McJunkin, Bonnie started a 20 year career with Balon Ball Valves in Oklahoma City.
Bonnie was a member of Saint Mary’s Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City where she had been an active member prior to her illness. She was a hard working woman who enjoyed her career, which included traveling and time away meeting with her clients. In her spare time she loved to play golf, but most importantly, she loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Bonnie is remembered by her daughter, Lori Libengood and by her grandchildren: Kennedy, Keaton and Kiley Libengood. Her siblings are: Cheryl Manner, Ronald Hosack (Denese), William Hosack (Barbara), Phillip Hosack and Rebecca Edwards (Jim).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Shaun Manner.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 9 th at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary’s Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church. Cremation services provided by Evergreen Cremations, Inc. of Indiana.
