State police from the Punxsutawney Barracks have released more information on a fatal shooting near the Indiana-Jefferson County border.
Police say that the shooting stemmed from an isolated family dispute between two brothers on March 11th at the parking lot of the Walmart in Punxsutawney. This lead to a physical altercation between the two ending with a gun being fired in the chest of 20-year-old Alex Roy, who died on the scene.
The incident is still under investigation and state police are being assisted by the Jefferson County DA’s office. Police anticipate releasing more information at a later time.
