Indiana County first responders were busy Wednesday afternoon with several different calls for service.
The first call was for a brush fire at 3:34 PM on Barnett Hill Road in Canoe township. Rossiter fire department was called out at the time. No details have been provided on how much ground was damaged. This marks the 15th brush fire in Indiana County this year so far.
Then Indiana Fire Association was called out for four consecutive calls. The first was a fuel spill at 3:37 PM on Philadelphia Street, then a physical rescue on East Pike Road at 4:28 PM.
Indiana Fire Association, Citizens Ambulance, and State Police were then called out at 6:28 PM for a vehicle crash on North 4th Street in White Township. The same three entities would be called out at 11:44 PM for a crash on Route 422 west in Armstrong Township. A landing zone was also requested for the same area at 12:04 this morning.
