Jo Ann A. Baker, 72, Export died Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was the daughter of the late John and Ann (Kundla) Hranitz and was born May 5, 1951 in Indiana, PA
Jo Ann was an avid gardener and loved growing and caring for all varieties of Orchids. She loved all animals, especially her beloved cats. Her home was certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat. After her retirement, Jo Ann enjoyed snow birding in Florida and visiting beaches all over the Caribbean. She took pride in keeping a clean house and enjoyed cooking for people.
Jo Ann was a 1969 graduate of Homer Center High School. She worked as a legal assistant for former Senator Allen G. Kukovich and a legal secretary for Attorney Bruce C. Tobin. While residing in West Virginia, she was the office manage for Dr. James E. Radcliff, DVM.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband Russell E. Baker; her daughter, Rebecca J. Baker, Greensburg and her special nephew, Rich Ashford, Murrysville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca E. Ashford and her brother, John Richard Hranitz.
