On January 17, 2024 after a long life and a short illness,”Audrey” crossed the river through her trust in Christ and entered her eternal rest.
Those that knew her, know that she kept very busy on the farm (and especially in the kitchen!), but her bookkeeping skills and hobbies of antiquing and doll collecting also kept her occupied.
She was a dedicated Sunday school teacher, and Child Evangelism 5 day club sponsor and teacher for 5 decades. Most importantly however was her family.
Being married to the love of her life in 1947, Clair “Rusty” McNutt formed the basis for this busy schedule as well as having seven children. Rusty preceded her in death as well as her parents, John “Reed” and Ruth McCormick, one sister, May Adams, and two brothers, Tom and Dick McCormick, and a granddaughter, Meaghan McNutt.
Surviving her are Thomas and wife Susan of Brush Valley, Donald and wife Karen of Womelsdorf, PA, Clark and wife Liz of Chattanooga, TN, Carol and husband Girish Kalé of Las Vegas, NV, Paul and wife Crystal of Houston, TX, Ruth and husband Phil Weaver of Brush Valley, and Daniel McNutt, Esq., of Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by a loving sister, Virginia, “Ginny” Empfield of Brush Valley, and brother Philip, “Flip” and wife Betty McCormick of Vienna, VA.
She dearly loved her 37 grandchildren and their spouses, plus 36 great-grandchildren and counting!! “God is good, all the time” was one of her favorite sayings.
Audrey was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church of Brush Valley, PA.
