Along with the search for the missing man from Saltsburg area we reported on, Indiana County first responders were very busy on Friday.
Two vehicle accidents were reported on Friday. One was at 3:26 AM on Martin Road in Rayne Township and the other was at 7:45 AM on Route 22 in West Wheatfield Township, Commodore Fire Crews were called at 9:36 to set up a landing zone along Route 286 East for a trauma patient.
Armagh-East Wheatfield and Clyde fire departments were dispatched to a location in Westmoreland County to assist crews with a fire at 1:06 PM. Indiana fire companies 4 and 1 were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm activation on Oakland Avenue at 4:53 PM. At 6:18 PM, Clyde Fire Department was dispatched to assist EMT’s on scene for an unknown incident on Baird Drive. And Clymer Fire Department was dispatched to investigate an unknown-type fire on Spearman Road in Cherryhill Township at 10:30 PM.
