At their meeting Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors continued discussion on a proposed noise ordinance.
Supervisor Eugene Gemmell said he has been to the area of Grandview Extension that was affected by the noise and fellow supervisor Sandi Gillette said the township’s Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee has not made any recommendations regarding the ordinance, but she reiterated to those in attendance that it takes more than government entities to find a solution.
In other business, longtime Road Superintendent Timothy Willis announced that he plans on retiring after 46 years with the township. He said he’s seen lots of growth since joining in 1978.
Willis’s final day is January 3.
