More information was released Thursday afternoon concerning the death of a Johnstown man who was killed and later discovered near the Indiana-Cambria County line.
Daryl Vincent Lee, Jr. was found dead early in the morning on July 14th along Route 403 near the county border. Yesterday, Cambria County’s District Attorney Gregory Neugebauer announced that two people from Johnstown, 41-year-old Justin Green and 31-year-old Brooke Pulin were taken into custody. At a news conference today, Neugebauer confirmed that the Lee’s body was transported by a pickup truck to the eventual site where he was found and the two were arrested in Johnstown by local police. A prior report stated that the two went out of state to get rid of the shotgun used in the shooting, but Neugebauer said the gun has not been found, but there is a possibility the two travelled out of state.
He also said that this investigation was a great example of the cooperation between the multiple police departments and the district attorneys from both Cambria and Indiana County.
The case will be tried in Cambria County as the killing allegedly took place in Johnstown, but State Police’s major case unit out of the Indiana Barracks will continue to investigate. Both suspects are in Cambria County Prison
