Altoona dropped the finale against the Somerset Patriots Sunday afternoon, 4-3.
Noe Toribio coughed up the lead after allowing a go-ahead, two-run home run to Trey Sweeney. It also extended the Curve’s streak of allowing an opposing home run to 11 straight games. Brad Case opened the bullpen game for Altoona, allowing two runs in three innings.
Matt Gorski went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Liover Peguero and Andres Alvarez each tallied a double.
The Curve return to PNG Field tomorrow night to face the Bowie Baysox.
