For the fifth consecutive year, an Indiana-based bank has been named one of the world’s best banks by Forbes magazine.
First Commonwealth Bank has announced that they were named one of the “Worlds Best Banks” in the recent ranking by the financial publication. They join 75 banks in the United States and a total of 415 banks from 32 countries on the list. That total number is actually down from last year by 20 financial institutions.
In collaboration with the analytics firm Statista, Forbes selected the banks for their annual ranking based on independent surveys of over 48,000 global bank customers through a series of online access panels and sampled bank customers. Some of the criteria include customer service, digital services, financial advice, terms and conditions, and trust.
In a statement, First Commonwealth CEO Mike Price said that he was proud of the team at the bank’s locations. He said that “They’re talented, they care, and they strive to live our mission everyday – to improve the financial lives of our neighbors and their businesses.” He said that because fewer banks were given the award, that this year’s award was even more esteemed.
