During Thursday’s IUP Council of Trustees meeting, IUP president Dr. Michael Driscoll announced that he approved tuition decreases for undergraduate international students.
This will be along the same lines as tuition decreases for in-state and out-of-state students that have been done in the past. Driscoll said that international enrollment has declined over the last few years.
In other business, the council of trustees approved the five year priority capital project spending plan that will be submitted to the State System of Higher Education. The priority order is for the construction of a replacement culinary education building for 2023-24. Other projects that will be a part of the plan in later years include Johnson Hall Renovation and maintenance to other academic buildings.
