IUP is losing one of its top administrators. Vice President for Administration and Finance Cornelius Wooten has been chosen as the new Vice Chancellor of Administration and Finance for North Carolina Central University.
IUP President Michael Driscoll praised Wooten for navigating the university through its financial challenges, saying he will miss his “good advice…and careful management of university assets.”
Wooten says he feels “very honored” to have served here for more than a decade. He came to IUP in April of 2008 from Alabama State University. His last day here will be November 30th, and he will start at NCCU on December 3rd.
