Both victims in a fatal crash on Monday in Armstrong County have been identified.
The crash was reported around 12:00 noon in Elderton along Route 210. Authorities say that 41-year-old Lacy Gohn was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. said in a news release that her mother, 70-year-old Sonza Marasco died after she was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center. Police say both women were in a car turning left from the northbound lane of Route 210 to enter a private driveway when a second vehicle collided with them as they entered the southbound lane.
One other person, 51-year-old Donna Crissman, was flown from the scene to a hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, but police are being aided by area residents and businesses who have provided video surveillance footage from the area.
