It is expected to be a busy day in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas. Along with the many ARD hearings on the schedule, there will also be a handful of plea and sentencing hearings today.
One of the sentencing hearings today will be for Kevin T. Albright of Indiana. The 50-year-old Indiana man pleaded guilty on November 9th of last year to one count each of forgery, tampering with records, unsworn falsification to authorities, engaging in unprofessional conduct and failure to pay state taxes in connection with incidents that started in December of 2018 when he was a general manager of Indiana Auto Mart. He originally faced 246 charges connected with the investigation that revealed he did not send money or titles to PennDOT, wrote bad checks to PennDOT, failed to pay a business associate, forged multiple customer names on PennDOT document affadavits, failed to send vehicle warrant money and other crimes. The dealership closed in 2019. He is also scheduled for a plea court appearance today to answer to five charges of writing bad checks in April of 2019.
Also due in court today will be Nathaniel Wilson, a 35-year-old with a Butler address who pleaded guilty to charges of child endangerment and simple assault. This was for an incident on September 10th of 2020.
