The week-long collection effort for Renda Media and Digital’s Teddy Bear Fund Drive ended on a high note.
On the final day of collection efforts at the 700 Shop in Downtown Indiana, a total of $8,297 was collected. This included large donations from S&T Bank, The Reschini Group, Diamond Pharmacy, State Senator Joe Pittman and State Representative Jim Struzzi. While the total is not yet finalized, a preliminary count showed that $22,338 was raised over the week.
Renda Media and Digital Vice President Mark Bertig had this to say after the final day’s efforts.
The effort was part of the 44th annual Teddy Bear Fund Drive, which raises money for child healthcare at Indiana Regional Medical Center and the Free Care Fund of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
