At a special meeting Monday night, the Indiana School Board voted to set an upper limit on the Eisenhower renovation and addition project.
That upper limit stands at $24 milliuon, and the board reached that number after a long discussion and voting on numbers higher and lower than the $24 million eventually approved. Walter Schroth said that he wanted a unified voice from the board on the issue.
The board voted 6-2 with Cinda Brode and Terry Kerr voting against the limit put in place. Kerr said he needed more information on what they would get for the $24 million.
The board did not act on a motion to set completion dates for the project. The next board meeting will be December 5th at 7 PM for a board reorganization meeting with a regular board meeting to follow.
