Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident on Interstate 79 in the south bound lanes in Cussewago Township, Crawford County, according to the Meadville Tribune.
The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The victim was identified as Gregory Black, 54 of Blairsville.
According to the report, police say Black was driving south at approximately 7:25 p.m. when his 2009 GMC Canyon pickup truck traveled off the eastern side of the highway into the median near mile marker 162.
Black was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene due to blunt force trauma to the neck and chest, according to Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell.
