Saturday was an active day for Indiana County’s emergency responders. They answered calls for three brush fires, a structure fire, an accident, and a police assist.
The brush fires were along Route 954 North in West Mahoning Township at 12:17 PM, with Plumville firefighters responding; a little over two hours later along Route 210 in South Mahoning Township, again with Plumville dispatched; and along Penn Street in Clymer Borough at 6:14 last night, with Clymer firefighters called to the scene.
The structure fire was at 7:21 PM, a call to Grant Street answered by Indiana companies 2 and 3 and the Rig Team.
The police assist was a call for Indiana firefighters to Oakland Avenue in White Township at 8:36 PM, and the accident was at 10:25 PM along Route 119 North in North Mahoning Township, with the Perry Township Fire Company out of Jefferson County dispatched.
