An Indiana man charged in four different cases will be sentenced today in Indiana County Court.
Court documents show that 38-year-old Bradley Randall Smith of Indiana will go before Judge Michael T. Clark for sentencing hearings in four cases this morning. One of the cases he will be sentenced for is a theft from the White Township Walmart on March 6th of last year, where he and co-conspirator Shierlee A. Webster of Indiana tried to steal a rug scrubber. After police provided photos from surveillance footage of the two suspects, police received tips that lead them to both Smith and Webster. He entered guilty pleas earlier this year for a charge of retail theft.
Smith will also be sentenced for a guilty plea to a charge of criminal mischief for an incident on March 7th of last year, a receiving stolen property charge from January of 2021, and a disorderly conduct-engaging in fighting charge from October of last year.
Another person who will be sentenced today is a man who tried to flee from police on May 25th of last year. 37-year-old Michael Daniel Goss from Clymer was arrested after police tried to pull him over along Route 119 in Burrell Township when he pulled into the Kwik Fill along Route 119 in Center Township, drove around the pumps and tried to flee. Goss crashed on Route 56 near Elizabeth Way and started to flee on foot. Police were able to find him and take him into custody. He pleaded guilty to all charges, including fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving on a suspended license, reckless endangerment, and six other summary traffic charges.
