The Indiana School Board’s Buildings, Grounds and Transportation Committee is also scheduled to meet this evening, and the elementary schools are on the agenda.
In January, the board approved an elementary reconfiguration plan that would create two Pre-K to third grade schools at Ben Franklin and East Pike, one fourth and fifth grade school at Eisenhower, with Horace Mann no longer utilized as an elementary school. Tonight, the board will discuss the contract with Buchart-Horn Architects and the timeline for renovations and additions at Eisenhower. The board will also look to discuss how to utilize Horace Mann after Eisenhower reopens.
Discussion is also expected on the East Pike Roof Project and new microphones for the district board room.
The meeting is scheduled to start tonight at 5:30 and will be open to the public in-person and online through the district’s website.
