A student at United Junior-Senior High School is facing charges after he was reported to have made a threat of violence against other students.
On January 13, 2022, a member of the Troop A, Indiana Patrol Unit was assigned to investigate an alleged threat by a student at United Junior-Senior High School, 10780 Route 56 Highway East in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County.
It was reported to troopers that a 17-year-old male student was in school yesterday when he was alleged to have made a threat of violence against other students while in lunch period.
Upon investigation, the student was interviewed and was determined to not have access to firearms.
Based upon the results of this investigation, troopers believe the threat is not credible and charges are pending.
