With more rainfall yesterday, emergency crews in Indiana County were sent out for more calls to pump water out of basements.
Two of the incidents were reported in Green Township. The first of those was at 10:59 PM at a home along Route 240. Commodore fire department was dispatched at the time. Five minutes later, the Glen Campbell Fire Department was called out to a home along Cookport Road. That actually made the second flooding-related call for Glen Campbell fire crews, as at 10:30 PM, crews were dispatched to the intersection of Route 286 East and Bennett Road for a report of a flooded roadway.
The third pumping detail of the night was reported along Chestnut Street in West Wheatfield Township at 11:49 PM. Bolivar firefighters were dispatched for that. And Indiana fire crews were called to a home along Croyland Avenue in Indiana Borough at 12:46 this morning.
One other call was reported in Indiana County on Tuesday at the intersection of Route 119 South and Cornell Road in Burrell Township for a vehicle accident. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments responded along with state police and Citizen’s Ambulance.
