Inpatient admission levels at IRMC have lowered enough to allow visitors to the hospital once again.
Recently, Covid inpatient admissions were at the “high” level for IRMC, which according to their website means there were over 20 Covid-19-positive patients in the facility. That number has gone down, and as of today, it is now at 17. This means that IRMC is now in the “substantial” category, and the hospital will allow some visitors under certain limitations. One visitor is allowed to visit patients who are Covid-19 negative per day. Visitors have to go through a screening process before entering the hospital, and two screening locations will be set up at the Hospital Main Entrance and the IASA building.
No visits are allowed to Covid-19 positive patients except in extreme circumstances like imminent death. In those cases, the visitor must wear Personal Protective Equipment and have physician approval.
