A man was life-flighted to an area hospital after a confrontation with an animal in Center Township on Wednesday.
Indiana County 911 reported that the Homer City Fire Department was dispatched at 1:56 PM on Wednesday to set up a landing zone on Old Route 119. The landing zone was located near the Indiana Farmers Livestock Auction Barn. Fire officials confirmed that a man, who was not identified, was attacked by a bull at the barn, and required treatment.
State police were also called to the scene to assist Citizens’ Ambulance personnel on scene.
