Two automatic fire alarms kicked off yesterday’s reports. The first call came in shortly after 4 o’clock and sent Black Lick and Blairsville fire crews to Colony Blvd. in Burrell Township. The next call sent Indiana Fire Association to Saltsburg Road in White Township around 7:10 p.m.
Indiana Fire Company No.1 was called out to reports of a transformer on fire around 8:50, and Creekside fire crews responded to a downed tree approximately 15 minutes later along Route 110 in Rayne Township.
Two instances of downed utility lines were reported as well. The first happened around 9:06 that sent Rossiter fire crews to Canoe Ridge Road in Canoe Township. The final call dispatched Saltsburg fire crews to Indiana Ave. around 11:35 p.m.
