On Wednesday night, the White Township Supervisors finalized the second part of their donation plans for Citizens’ Ambulance Service.
This part of the plan deals with the extra donations that the township may make to match donations from other municipalities in the Citizens’ Ambulance service area up to $50,000. Township manager Milt Lady said that he and the supervisors look forward to hearing from some of the other municipalities.
In other business, the supervisors adopted a resolution that designated the Indiana Arts Council as a White Township representative for promoting the arts in the township. Lady said the resolution is to assist with a grant for an amphitheater for the White Township Rec Complex
The township is applying for $500,000 in American Recovery Plan funds through the National Endowment for the Arts.
The supervisors also approved hiring Tom Harley Architects at a cost of $17,350 for a final design plan for a DCNR Recreation grant for playground and storm water mitigation upgrades at the rec complex.
