Indiana county first responders were busy on Friday with several different calls.
One structure fire was reported, but it was in Jefferson County, as Rossiter Fire department was dispatched to assist at the scene on Bair road at 3:33 PM.
Armagh and Clyde fire departments were dispatched for a vehicle accident on Route 56 East in East Wheatfield Township at 5:07 PM. State police were also called to the scene. Information on the crash has not yet been released.
There were two reports of power lines down. One was on Cush Creek Road in Cherryhill Township at 4:33 PM. Cherry Tree firefighters were dispatched at the time. The other was 5:44 PM along Climax Road in West Wheatfield Township. Clyde firefighters were called out again. As of right now, only 13 of Penelec’s customers are without power at this point, and power restoration is expected by noon today.
