THEFT
Pennsylvania State Police in Indiana report an incident of theft that happened on Friday at the White Township Walmart. Troopers say more than $50 in food items and $10 in diapers were stolen from the store shortly before noon, after the suspects involved did not scan them at the self-checkout.
Police do not have any leads on who the suspect or suspects could be, but they say they left in an older-style Toyota Corolla. Troopers urge anyone with information to contact state police in Indiana at 724-357-1960.
HARASSMENT
State police in Indiana report that a Rayne Township woman was arrested in an incident of harassment on Sunday. Reports say troopers were dispatched to a home along Chambersville Road, and found 37-year-old Brandi DeMoss had hit an unnamed 37-year-old man. Charges were filed through District Judge Christopher Welch.
IDENTITY THEFT
State police in Indiana also report an incident of identity theft that happened in Rayne Township on July 2. Police say that the social security number belonging to a 33-year-old man from Marion Center was used to file for unemployment. An investigation did not reveal any suspects.
