Governor Tom Wolf announced Thursday morning that 50 percent of Pennsylvanians are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Wolf called it a “major milestone” in a social media post, and he thanks Pennsylvania residents in protecting the health of everyone in the Commonwealth. He also gave thanks to hardworking providers for “getting shots into arms.”
That leaves a remaining 20 percent of the required 70 percent for the lifting of mask mandates across the state. Vaccination sites are still available for those to continue to get the shot.
The Indiana Regional Medical Center is hosting one today until 7 p.m. at IRMC Park. Another is scheduled at the KCAC for tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at May Mart at the S&T Bank Arena.
