A preliminary hearing is scheduled today for one of the four suspects in the Carriage House shooting last October.
Court documents say that 19-year-old Terrion Gates of Philadelphia will appear before District Judge Christopher Welch at 8:30 this morning. Gates is charged with criminal homicide, robbery-inflicting serious bodily injury, and theft by unlawful taking for his part in the shooting of Jadeyn Wright on October 17th of last year. Gates, along with 20-year-old Isaiah Moore of Philadelphia, 18-year-old Isabella Edmonds of Indiana, and 20-year-old Delmar Chatman of Johnstown allegedly went to get some marijuana from Wright but the encounter lead to Wright’s death. The four fled on foot after the shooting.
Gates was the last suspect to be apprehended in connection with this case. The others have already had some hearings, with formal arraignment set for April 27th for Edmonds, a Criminal Call hearing set for April 9th for Chatman. Moore had a criminal call hearing earlier this month, and is set for a preliminary hearing on April 5th on two counts of criminal solicitation to escape.
