Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. has released the name of a person who was found dead in West Wheatfield Township on Thursday.
In a report, Overman says that 27-year-old Dashawn Cornellius Green-Brewster of Philadelphia was found shortly before 3 p.m. while a PennDOT employee was inspecting drainage pipes in the area. An autopsy and toxicology exam were conducted on Friday, however no cause of death is reported at this time.
State police in Indiana urge anyone with information leading to the cause of Green-Brewster’s death to call 724-357-1960.

State police announced this morning that they are investigating a suspicious death that was discovered yesterday in West Wheatfield Township.
In a news release, police say that troopers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Mulligan Hill Road between Robinson and New Florence in West Wheatfield Township at 2:15 PM. A PennDOT employee inspecting a nearby drain along the road found what appeared to be a body in a grassy area. Troopers responding to the scene confirmed the death and called in Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. to pronounce the victim dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim will be released pending notification of next-of-kin. Evidence on the scene shows that the death is suspicious in nature, but to preserve the integrity of the investigation, police have not released many details at this time.
