Veterans seeking employment have a new advocate in the office of PA Careerlink in Indiana.
Careerlink announced that Lieutenant Colonel Mickael Kane will join the staff as its Veterans Employment Representative-Disabled Veterans Outreach Program specialist. Kane served in the Marine Corps as a UH-1N Helicopter pilot and also served as the DVOP specialist in Blair and Bedford counties.
In his job as the DVOP specialist, he will help veterans overcome barriers that are in their way so they can get the employment opportunities they want or need. His work at Careerlink will cover both Indiana and Armstrong Counties.
Like most of the Careerlink staff, he will work remotely to start, but will eventually work out of the Indiana office.
