Westmoreland County Community College announced this morning new tuition rates for Indiana County students who want to attend dual-credit classes.
Students that attend schools one of the three Indiana County schools that have a dual-enrollment agreement with WCCC will be able to attend classes at the rate of $60 per credit-hour instead of the $120 per credit-hour rate. WCCC President Dr. Tuesday Stanley said that the big benefit will help students who don’t have the resources to head to campus for classes.
Three high schools have already signed up for the opportunity, including Indiana, United and Apollo-Ridge School Districts. Stanley also said that the college hopes with the cost change, other schools will take the opportunity to team up with WCCC.
