State police have not yet released a report on yesterday morning’s crash on Route 22 East in Derry Township. The accident at the Jonnet Road intersection happened at about 6:15 AM and involved a car and a tri-axle truck. One person was flown from the scene by medical helicopter.
Police have issued a report on a Saturday night crash on Route 403 at Dixonville Road in Green Township. A vehicle missed on the curve where the road comes to a “Y”, traveling into a yard and hitting a flower planter and a tree. The driver then fled the scene, leaving a heavy oil trial for about 200 feet. Police canvassed the area but could not find the vehicle.
No one was injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision on North Ben Franklin Road in White Township. Police say 22-year-old Maria John of Ford City ran a steady red light and collided with a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Luke McKelvey of Indiana.
