Homer-Center beat Penns Manor 12-2 in six innings. With the win, Homer Center is now 11-3, and 10-2 in the Heritage Conference. The Wildcat offense was powered by a seven run second inning. Braden Rado scored two runs, including the game-winning run.
River Valley beat Purchase Line 4-1. Christian Moyer of the Red Dragons struck out 11 batters over six innings, but gave up all four earned runs on eight hits. He also had the Dragons’ lone run, a solo homer.
United beat Ferndale 11-1
SOFTBALL
Homer Center’s softball team lost to Penns Manor 4-3 despite outhitting the Comets 7-6. Bekah Marshall led Homer-Center Varsity Lady Wildcats with three hits.
Purchase Line fell to River Valley 5-3
