BASEBALL
Indiana is 13-0, 8-0 in the Section after a 3-1 win over Knoch yesterday, their second victory over the Knights in two days. The Indians scored all of their runs in the bottom of the first inning and managed only four hits, all singles, in the game. Sully Van Hoose had two hits and an RBI and Ethan Shank and Rocco Cosentino had the other hits. Ryan Okopal threw six innings and gave up just a run in the sixth. He gave up two hits, struck out five and walked one. Mark Collinger struck out the side in the seventh for the save.
SOFTBALL
Streaking Indiana swept a doubleheader from Valley, 16-1 and 16-0, both in three innings. Addie Stossel had two hits and four RBIs in the first game, while Maggie Cunningham and Samantha Martin both had two hits. Stossel got the win in the circle. In the second game, Kaylee Cass got the win with a three-inning no-hitter and she also had two hits and drove in four runs. Cunningham had two more hits with a home run and Martin also homered. Claire Brewer had two hits.
Indiana started the season 1-7 but has now won four in a row.
