Michael “spike” Paul Pisarcik, of Indiana, PA passed away on March 16th 2025. He was born in Johnstown, PA on March 21st, 1974.
Michael graduated from Indiana High School in 1992 where he played Tennis, was a statistician for the volleyball teams, and received an award for his skill at Pickleball. Michael also attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania while in High school, and beyond.
Michael was a multifaceted individual, with many talents and skills. Always quick witted, his sense of humor was as disarming as it was amusing, and he was always the first to laugh at his own jokes. There was also a serious side to Mike, which he demonstrated through his attention to detail in woodworking. He could always see the potential in
the figure of a piece of wood and bring that beauty out in items he crafted for friends and family.
Michael enjoyed traveling to places like Cedar Rapids, Atlantic City, Erie, and for a time even lived in Las Vegas.
An avid lover of basketball, the month of March was dedicated to “March Madness”, delaying celebration of his own birthday so that he wouldn’t miss a game. Known to many as the “Piz”, Mike had a head for angles, and was a force to be reckoned with when a pool table was available.
Michael is survived by his mother: Doris Pisarcik, step father: Brian Arford;. And siblings: Stéphanie (Rob), Gary Pisarcik. He will be missed by his aunt: Paula McKee; nephew: Sean; niece Kelly (Nick) and uncle Mark Pisarcik.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Stephen J. Pisarcik; his grandparents: Jim and Louise (Domino) Pisarcik, Paul and Catherine (Pickerd) Wiggins
Michael will be remembered and missed for his kindness, compassion, sense of humor, intellect, friendship, and love.In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you perform a rousing rendition of “Baby Got Back” the next time you’re near a Karaoke machine. It’s what Mikey would have wanted.
