Patricia E. Myers, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Known affectionately as Patty, she was the devoted wife of John D. Myers and the proud mother of Nicole Quinn-Colman, Shannon Quinn Sharrer, Aaron Quinn and step-daughter Shannon Myers. Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured her love and energy into her six grandchildren: Anthony, Emma, Konnor, Kaylla, Sienna and Camry.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lula Malcolm and is survived by her brothers, Dennis Malcolm along with his family and Gregory Malcolm.
Patty was a woman of deep passion and creativity. She was the proud co-founder of Malcolm’s House of Flowers, where her talent and vision helped shape a business rooted in beauty and care. For 30 years, she served as its owner, growing it into a beloved local treasure.
When she wasn’t crafting arrangements or helping customers, Patty could be found tending to her garden, exploring new sights, or spending precious time with her grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who know her.
Her legacy lives on in the blooms she nurtured, the family she loved, and the lives she touched. A celebration of Patty’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant something in her honor or share a moment of beauty with someone you love. Donations may be made in Patty’s memory to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Shadyside, PA.
