Members of IUP’s police department have donated $250 to help the IUP Food Pantry and Help Center by keeping their mustaches and beards for a month.
As part of the national “No Shave November” movement, members of the IUP police department put away the razors and electric shavers after making donations to the program for November and December. The Food Pantry and Help Center is located in Wallwork Hall and is coordinated by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. More than 7,800 students have received support from the Food Pantry and Help Center since its opening in 2019.
Members of the department also donated food items to the Food Pantry and Help Center at the beginning of the fall semester.
