A motions hearing is set for today for a Glen Campbell man charged with sexual assault.
The hearing today for 44-year-old Andrew John Komlosky, Jr. concerns a motion to have him released to house arrest. In August of last year, he entered a “no contest” plea to charges of statutory sexual assault and indecent assault of someone under the age of 13. The incidents dated back to January of 1997. Last January, he was ordered to serve six months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and two years of probation upon his release.
Also scheduled for today is a motions hearing for 32-year-old Amanda Nicole Shaw of New Kensington, who pleaded guilty in 2021 to charges of child endangerment, DUI, reckless endangerment and two summary driving counts for an incident in August of 2020. She was ordered to serve up to four years of probation. Today’s hearing concerns a motion for immediate punishment.
