IUP has been selected by U.S. News and World Report as one of the best graduate school programs in the nation.
The 2025 ranking not only puts the entire school on the list, but the graduate criminology school was ranked among the top 34 programs in the nation. The editors also had high marks for the school’s English, education, speech-language pathology, fine arts, clinical psychology and psychology courses. The rankings are put together based on expert opinions on the program’s excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of the school’s faculty, research, students and post-graduate outcomes.
The recognition comes on the heels of a number of national accolades, including the computer science program ranked in the top 25 in the nation by Cybersecurity Guide, and another ranking from U.S. News and World Report putting the online criminology master’s program as one of the top 21 programs in the nation.
