Members of the Marcus & Mack Law firm are visiting local schools to discuss the dangers of distracted driving.
EndDD is a program funded by a Philadelphia attorney whose daughter was killed 20 years ago by a distracted driver. The program aims to raise awareness on the dangers of driving while distracted, saying that teens are much more likely to be injured by a distracted driver than a drunk driver. In an interview on Indiana in the Morning, attorney Bryan Neiderhiser says that taking your eyes off the road for even a second can open up opportunities for tragic incidents to occur.
Attorney Brad Holuta says that distracted driving can mean many things, not just being on your phone.
The group has already visited Bishop McCort, Penns Manor, and Homer Center. They will soon be visiting United, Clearfield and Richland.
