Blairsville police continue to investigate a hit-and-run crash that happened early Sunday morning.
At 5:44 AM, police said that a truck going North in the 300 block of North Walnut Street crossed the center line and hit a utility pole, causing severe damage to the pole. Witnesses said the truck, described as a late-90’s or 2000’s gray Dodge pickup, fled the scene after impact. Blairsville firefighters assisted police on the scene.
